| Current Status Report on the EU Integration Process of Armenia up to 15 August 2007 |
The EC Delegation in Armenia requested AEPLAC to elaborate “Current Status Report on the EU Integration Process of Armenia up to 15 August 2007”. This overview provides a comprehensive account on the progress made by the Government in implementation of the reforms aimed at the EU integration.
Thus, this Report is structured to enable presentation of a comprehensive picture on the EU integration issues, including a short macroeconomic overview; a description of ENP related issues and main developments, and a presentation of the NP and its parts. This document consists of two main thematic parts, an introductory part and the main analysis.

| Overview of PCA Implementation as of March 2007 |
The EC Delegation in Armenia requested AEPLAC to elaborate “Overview of PCA Implementation as of March 2007”. The draft document consists of four thematic parts, each presenting the current situation in specific areas. The first part provides information on the NP elaboration process, applied methodologies and approaches, its structure, as well as on ENP Action Plan. The second part provides an analysis of the progress already made in NP implementation in regard to legal, policy and institutional reforms, and defines the status of implementation of measures and the progress achieved in legal and policy approximation. The third part of the overview presents the current state of affairs in the field of evaluation of administrative capacities responsible for NP implementation. The fourth part of the overview provides an analysis of the ENP Action Plan and relevant NP measures. |

Legal and Institutional Approximation CURRENT STATUS |
This summary covers the current status of Armenian legislation as compared with that of the EU as of 1 January 2005 in the fields defined by the Chapters of the National Programme for PCA Implementation. The opinions and assessments provided are not considered to be thorough and all-encompassing. It should be mentioned also that the relevant experts have based their evaluations on already implemented screening results of the EU and Armenian legislations. The analyses undertaken have given an opportunity to the Working Groups to make comments on the current situation in Armenia and to provide their conclusions. |
