The Law on Copyright and Related Rights regulates legal relations in regard to the copyright (Articles 5-29), related rights (Articles 30-38), ensuring and protection of copyright and related rights (Articles 39-44).
The protection of copyright and related rights in the Republic of Armenia is provided by the Law on Copyright and Related Rights of the Republic of Armenia. The Law on Copyright and related rights stipulates provisions on different types of the use of the work, resale right for the benefit of the author of the original work of art, rental rights, copyrights and related rights on satellite broadcasting and cable retransmission as well as forms relating to the regulation of legal relation in regard to legal protection of databases and computer programs |

The Law on Patents establishes the order of legal protection, use and creation of industrial designs, utility models and inventions.
This Law governs the economic relationships and the non–economic personal relationships deriving from the creation, legal protection and exploitation or use of inventions, utility models and industrial designs (hereinafter, "industrial property subject matter").
This Law regulates the issues concerning Patent Office of the Republic of Armenia, Patentability for Industrial Property Subject Matter, Authors and Patent Owners of Industrial Property Subject Matter, Exclusive Right to Exploit Industrial Property Subject Matter, Grant of the Patent for an Industrial Property Subject Matter, Lapse of Patent, Defense of the Rights of Authors and of Patent Owners. |

The present Law regulates the economic relationships and the non–economic personal relationships associated with the creation, legal protection and exploitation or use of the plant variety selection achievements.
This Law regulates the issues concerning the following issues: Conditions for Legal Protection of Selection Achievements and the Procedure for Filing an Application for the Grant of a Patent, Evaluation of the Legal Protection of the Selection Achievement, Legal Protection and the State Regulation of the Use of Selection Achievement, Transitional Provisions (The Granting of the Patent on the Basis of the Materials Entered into the List of Varieties and the Author's Certificates of the Former USSR). |
