European Union Single Market: Financial Services

This manual, which was jointly elaborated by the Central Bank and AEPLAC, presents the trends of formation and further development of the European Single Marker for financial services. The manual covers the descriptions of legal acts regulating the sectors covering the EU financial services market.
The manual consists of three chapters, namely:
- Regulation and supervision of EU financial market
- 2005-2010 EU financial services policy
- Legislative and institutional mechanisms
The material is interesting and useful for banks operating in the Republic of Armenia, insurance undertakings as well as for other interested stakeholders. |

- “Biblometric Indicators and Analysis of Research Systems. Methods and Examples”, Yoshiko Okubo
- Patents Manual (Using Patent Data As Science and Technology Indicators).
The book introduces not only methods and guides for measuring scientific, technological and innovation potential, output and efficiency, but also important definitions and conceptual approaches on R&D and innovation as well as their role and significance in economy and social life. OECD methods and guides are widely applied also in European particularly in EU countries, and are based on the experience of these countries.
The material is interesting and useful not only for bodies, organisations and individuals dealing with science policy, but also for those dealing with industrial policy, general economic growth and social policy, and other issues. |

AEPLAC developed “The European Union in Detail” handbook which is foreseen to be utilised during the conduction of training course on EU general matters among civil and public servants, as well as representatives of civil society.
The publication of the book was co-financed by AEPLAC and the Department for International Development (DFID) of the United Kingdom.
This is the first publication incorporating comprehensive information on EU history, EU legislation system and structures, EU accession and integration processes, EU relations with its member and non-member states, EU assistance to its members and non-members and EU-Armenia relations. |

This book is the first report in Armenia that is reflecting this topic, and this report is produced in cooperation with the Union of Banks of Armenia.
